Responsibilities:
The Business Development Manager will take the leading role in the management of the day-to-day operations of Curtin Consultancy Services (CCS).
Other responsibilities include :
- Enhance the overall operations of CCS in mapping out and ensuring successful implementation of its business and strategic plan.
- Develop and maintain effective links with members of industry, government, the local community and Curtin Sarawak staff to further promote and develop opportunities for CCS and the University.
- Take responsibility for overall financial operations which include budgeting, financial planning and fund management of CCS.
Requirements:
Selection Criteria :
- Relevant degree from a recognized university.
- Solution- and customer-oriented approach with ability to manage change, transition, and uncertainty while maintaining a positive working environment.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with an ability to balance, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in working with university academics on consultancy projects
