UCSI to Hold Culinary Arts Appreciation Weekend on Aug 24-26

KUCHING: UCSI University will hold the first Culinary Arts Appreciation Weekend at tHe Spring Shopping Mall on Aug 24-26 from 10am to 10pm.

Activities include cup cake decoration and culinary arts demonstrations.

There will also be free career counselling and free mocktail tastings at the open bar.

The Black Box Pasta Cooking Competition will be open to the public and school students.

Contestants will prepare individual pasta dishes with ingredients supplied by the organiser in the Black Box.

Attractive prizes await the top three winners for each category.

The main objective of the event is to introduce culinary arts to the public, promote the delicate skills required and its related job opportunities in the global industry.

UCSI University Sarawak Campus houses the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) and Centre for Pre-U Studies.

The campus provides niche programmes to train all students in many areas of hospitality and tourism as well as hone their management skills and teamwork.
