Wawasan Open University - the people’s university is dedicated to serve the needs of adult learners. Currently, it offers sub-degree, degree and postgraduate programmes through the open distance learning mode. Based in Penang, it strategically utilises information technology, a network of regional offices, learning centres and a team of well-trained tutors to support students throughout the nation. The University invites applicants with relevant subject expertise to join its academic team as part-time tutors. Successful applicants will be provided with comprehensive initial training prior to the start of the semester. On-going training to further enhance academic knowledge and administrative management skills will also be provided. Tutorial activities are conducted in Learning Centres located in PENANG, IPOH, KUALA LUMPUR, JOHOR BAHRU, KOTA BHARU and KUCHING.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A good Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in the relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the English Language (except for those courses marked by asterisk).
• A good knowledge of computer- and web-related skills.
• A post-graduate degree and/or teaching experience would be an added advantage.
