This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the development of a new school which will open in September 2011 with classes in years 7 and 8. In future years the school will expand to cover the full secondary age range, offering IGCSE courses at Key Stage 4 and either A Levels or the IB Diploma in the sixth form. It is planned that the school will move into a new purpose built campus in 2013. Initially the ability to offer a range of subjects or to support the work of the primary school will be an advantage.
Administrative Posts

- Bursar
Responsibilities:- Overseeing and monitoring of Finance and HR departments to ensure compliance with statutory standard and requirements and timely reporting to the statutory parties and management
- Responsible for the smooth and efficient daily operation of all administrative functions and provision of administrative services to support core academic functions of the school
- Supervise and motivate staff to ensure good discipline and implementation of school policies, procedures and practices in compliance with the Group’s policies and image.
- Diploma / Degree in Business related discipline
- At least five (5) years working experience in similar capacity
- Possess good management and leadership qualities
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to communicate with people of all levels
- Admissions and Marketing Executive
- Attend to admissions enquiries, responsible for all aspects of the admissions policies and processes, including conducting admissions tests and preparation of offer letters
- Update student database and provide relevant reports as required
- Help to formulate and execute the overall marketing strategy and key initiatives related to students enrolment
- Work closely with the academic and administration team to market school events and provide input to publications
- Diploma / Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication or Business related discipline
- At least two (2) years working experience in similar capacity, especially in customer service or education industry
- Demonstrate good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Possess good command of the English language (spoken and written)

- Accounts and HR Executive
Responsibilities:- Responsible in all HR and financial accounting functions including preparation of payroll and closing of full set accounts
- Maintain daily accounting operations, prepare payment vouchers, issue cheques, petty cash, etc. ensure accurate receipt from customers and payment made to creditors
- Assist in the application of working permit for expatriate staff, teaching permits for teachers, etc.
- Update and maintain staff files of the school according to established guidelines and procedures
- Diploma / Degree in Accountancy, partial ACCA or its equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years of working experience in accounting and payroll
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office applications
- Knowledge of UBS Accounting System

Responsibilities:- Attend to visitors and handle inquiries about the school
- Attend to incoming telephone calls, screen and direct calls to respective staff members
- Provide administrative support including general clerical, administrative and ad-hoc duties
- Minimum SPM, Certificate or equivalent in any field
- At least 1 year of working experience preferred
- Proficient in MS Office and telephone protocol

Responsibilities:- Set up the library system as a learning resource and create a welcoming environment to all school children and staff
- Source for books/reading materials, liaise with publishers/vendors
- Coordinate outreach activities e.g. reading/story telling sessions, based on weekly/monthly themes with Academic Staff to encourage students’ participation
- Diploma/Degree in Library Science or Information Studies
- Minimum three (3) years working experience in related field
- Familiar with library integrated system, i.e. bibliographic tools and records, library information storage and retrieval systems
- School Nurse
Responsibilities:- Must be able to provide first line medical assessment or nursing to students who are sick or injured while in school
- Look after ill boarders and dispenses medication where needed
- Highlight to the school management on those if there are students with medical records that need teachers’ attention
- Maintain and update a log book of medical incidents involving students who are treated at the Medical Room
- Maintain Medical Room contents and records
- Help to organise talks and exhibitions on student health
- Diploma in State Registered Nurse (SRN) or Certificate in Nursing or equivalent
- Currently registered and licensed with the Malaysian Nursing Council
- Minimum 8 years of nursing experience
- IT Executive
Responsibilities:- Responsible for the IT infrastructure and function of the school by performing networking setup; managing the emailing system and database
- Ensure security and virus-free IT working environment by setting up security and periodical virus check
- Review and recommend improvement of IT systems and functions
- Maintain proper records of IT equipment movement, networking, application software and related IT information
- Liaise with Group MIS, Internet provider and relevant vendors or suppliers on setup, implementation, repair, maintenance of IT hardware and software when required
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in related field is required for this position
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent
- Maintenance Supervisor
Responsibilities- Responsible for upkeep of the building and associated facilities at the school
- Supervise and monitor contractors (which include daily co-ordination on maintenance work, completion of preventive maintenance programme schedule and checklist, etc.)
- Manage the maintenance of all electrical and mechanical equipment in the school
- Able to handle plumbing, carpentry and simple technical work
- Diploma/Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with four (4) years working experience in similar capacity
- Those with SPM/SPMV with at least 10 years relevant working experience may be considered
- Computer literate and able to read technical writing
