It appeared that students are being the target of violence in recent weeks from numerous reports of fighting outside the school.
In the latest case, a student is in fear as he was extorted by a group of Form 5 students at Tabuan Melayu.
The 14-year-old boy said at about 1.30 pm, he was walking back home when the group accosted him and asked him for RM50.
They told him they need to get high and wanted to buy pills. When the victim said he did not have the money, one of them grabbed a wood and bashed him.
Before the group could attack him more, his friend who passed on a motorcycle asked him to ran and jumped on his bike. The victim told his parents who brought him to lodge a police report.
